We would like to mention a number of highlights of De Regenboog here:
- IPC: For the subject world orientation we offer the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). IPC is based on the development of 21th century skills, the future-oriented skills such as: creativity, collaboration, ICT literacy, critical thinking, communication, problem-solving skills, and socio-cultural skills.
- A peaceful school: The children learn to make decisions in a democratic way and to make an active contribution to the atmosphere and the course of events in the group and school. This not only promotes the pleasure with which your children go to school, but also creates a working environment in which a lot can be learned.
- De Regenboog group: When we think that a child will not achieve the final goals of group 8 and reaching reference level 1F (final goals group 6) will also be a tough job, de Regenboog group comes into the picture. The group is small, the instruction is tailor-made and where possible processing is more practical in nature. DIY activities are also provided.
- Gifted group: One of the gifted groups in Lelystad is located in the Regenboog school building.
- Physical education: twice a week all students receive physical education from a professional teacher. We also organize extra sports and games activities after school.
